Shining a light on solar energy

Solar energy is the fastest growing energy technology in the world, and Ontario is a leader in solar energy production. Much of that production involves photovoltaic (PV) panels, also called solar panels. The photovoltaic cells in the panels convert the sun's radiation to electricity.

Enersource is proud to have helped build the largest solar project on a City of Mississauga building: the Hershey Centre. On its roof is a 25.2 kWh, multi-photovoltaic panel installation that harnesses the sun's power on the brightest days of the year.
