At Enersource we recognize that employees are powerful contributors to the success

One of the ways we do this is through continuous learning.
Tuition Reimbursement: We recognize that continuous learning is
important to our employee's development and we encourage formal studies through
our Tuition Reimbursement program. Enersource will reimburse the cost of courses
that directly relate to an employee's current position or potential responsibilities
provided it meets with the terms and conditions of our Tuition Reimbursement Policy.
Development Plan: Supervisors and Managers work with their employees
to map out a personalized development plan that incorporates both formal training
and on-the-job training, including coaching and mentoring, to help them become the
best they can be!
Conferences and Seminars: We encourage and support attendance at
conferences and seminars as a means of keeping informed about what is happening
in a dynamic industry and to learn about best practices that can be shared with
the organization.
Association Sponsorship: Communities of practice are an important
way to network and share ideas with people in the same position or industry.
Enersource reimburses employees for association membership fees when approved by
Management.
In-House Training Initiatives: Enersource recently implemented
an online training library, Skillport, that consists of over 420 e-learning courses
designed for all skill levels, novice through advanced. Topics include both
technical courses, for example Microsoft Office, courses pertaining to business
functions, such as finance or customer service, and general business topics, like
project management and team building. These self-paced courses are available to
all employees.
