About Enersource Services

Enersource Services is an affiliate of Enersource Corporation. It has two divisions: Energy Services and Street Lighting. Together they design, construct, support and maintain electrical systems for various utilities and private firms.

Energy services

Our Energy Services division offers three types of service:

Engineering consulting and planning

We work with construction companies and property-management firms to understand your immediate and long-term energy needs, then we provide project-related analysis, planning and engineering. We can:

• Support greenfield development
• Expand existing electrical networks
• Increase electrical load
• Update aging energy infrastructure

Construction and maintenance

We help get your project off the ground and keep your existing energy systems running smoothly, for everything from underground installations and overhead electrical distribution to emergency power systems.

System operation and management

We optimize your electrical network to ensure it operates at peak efficiency.

Street lighting

Our Street Lighting team provides expert design and management of street lighting systems.
Our services include:

• Maintenance — spot calls, group re-lamping, performance measurement
• Long-term capital planning — rebuilds, condition surveys
• Reporting and analysis used for capital planning and performance management
• Record drawings to enable energy calculations and help field staff with maintenance
• Street lighting design — relocations for driveways and road-widening
• 24-hour call centre
• Peer design review and installation inspection
• Standards, specifications, design guides and Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) compliance
• Records and energy reconciliation
• Asset management and acquisition

Streetlight upgrades

Mississauga upgrades its older streetlights with new lights that are more efficient, more reliable, and that meet the city's current illumination standards. This is a multi-year plan we're carrying out in stages at no cost to residents.
