Enersource Hydro Mississauga is currently accepting new enrollments to the peaksaver® program.
Here’s how the peaksaver program works:
- A peaksaver representative will install the thermostat in your home (free of charge) and help you program your new thermostat to match your daily schedule.
- Once the schedule is set, the thermostat will automatically adjust the temperature in your home.
- To alter the temperature settings, you can continue to adjust it manually as required or you can remotely access your thermostat settings online via the Internet (i.e. from work).
In addition to self-managing your energy costs, on the hottest weekday afternoons, from May through September, Enersource Hydro Mississauga may slightly raise the temperature 1 to 2 degrees or cycle your air conditioning on and off for brief periods. The change in temperature will hardly be noticeable and only ever occur on weekdays!
