Electric and magnetic fields are invisible fields that are present wherever electricity is used — around appliances and power lines, and in offices, schools and homes. For many years, researchers have studied the possibility of health effects resulting from exposure to such fields; however, at this time, the balance of scientific evidence is against EMF having any impact on human health.
