Habitat for Humanity Mississauga
In March 2008, Enersource Corporation announced a donation of $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity's Mississauga Home Build. The build in Streetsville is the inaugral project for Habitat for Humanity in Mississauga. It at the time was also the largest single donation in Enersource's history.
Enersource was the first large corporate sponsor to sign on for this project, with the goal of helping Habitat for Humanity to build affordable, energy-efficient homes, allowing the sponsored families to save on energy costs.
